Here at Interbet.com, we are thrilled to announce that we are the official club sponsors of Newport County, a Welsh football team steadily climbing their way back up the ranks of the English Football League.
As part of the sponsorship deal, our logo will proudly adorn the shirts of County’s home, away and third kits. This will continue throughout the 2018/2019 season, with the Welsh team promoting the InterBet.com platform as the best place to conduct football bets.
Taking over from previous main sponsors, Mr Tom, we at InterBet.com now join a team of credible sponsors supporting Newport Country, eager to share our amazing sports betting promotions to a wider audience of Welsh football fanatics.
Newport County AFC’s Commercial Manager, Rebecca Hemming, is pleased to finalise the deal with us. Talking about our new partnership, she says:
“I’m really pleased to announce that Interbet will be our Main Club Sponsor for the 2018/19 season. They are an exciting new business and I think they will provide a fresh dynamic to the Club. You can see by their recent sponsorship of Chepstow Racecourse and with Jamie Baulch being a brand ambassador that they have good links with sport and leisure in the area. I’m really looking forward to working with Leon and everyone else at the Interbet Company this season.”
Leon Hughes, Managing Director of Interbet.com, is equally as thrilled to see this partnership come to fruition:
“I am delighted for Interbet to become the official main club partner of Newport County AFC. I look forward to an exciting season and hopefully promotion for the club whilst showing off the interbet.com brand” he comments.
Loving the Newport County’s fighting spirit and ability to defy the odds, we find them a fascinating team to back. And, with a large community of bettors interested in Welsh football using our platform, this sponsorship just fitted.
Betting on Newport County
Newport County are rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the Football League’s great entertainers. Their games are full of goals, both for and against. The Welsh club side have also claimed several notable FA Cup scalps over the past two years, including Leicester City, Middlesbrough and Leeds United. Premier League giants, Tottenham Hotspur were also held to a draw at Rodney Parade in last season’s fourth-round.
Newport County ended a near-25-year absence from the Football League when achieving promotion to League Two at the end of the 2012/13 season. The Amber Army gained promotion in typical Newport County fashion; defeating Wrexham in a thrilling all-Welsh Conference play-off final at Wembley Stadium.
Now, five years into their latest spell in the Football League, County are now an established League Two team. Under manager, Mike Flynn, they will be expected to push for promotion to League One and possibly beyond. Here at Interbet we are thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the Newport County journey.
A big year for Interbet.com sponsorships
The Interbet.com team are always looking for great sponsorship opportunities, having signed various agreements over the course of the past year. This includes forming working relationships with Oldham Athletic, St Mirren FC, Exeter City, Gillingham FC, Chepstow Racecourse and many other clubs and establishments. Looking ahead, this is something that will continue throughout 2019, with marketing the wonderful opportunities InterBet.com has to offer being a focus for the team.
